Envision Web-Connect
Web Application for ARIS Envision providing your customers access to the account online, bill viewing, downloading and paying their invoices online, allowing for 24 x 7 customer access to their accounts.
Core Features & Functionality
Registration:
Each user has to register in order to get online access. Registration process validates account number, invoice number, and generates a temporary password. This temporary password is sent to an email address (which is provided at registration) and/or sent to a mobile phone as an SMS[1]. Once user is logged in, he/she can change the temporary password. Username, password, firstname, lastname, email address, mailing address and more can be requested at the registration time. This information is stored at the user contact level. Username can be a phone number or simply a unique username. Registration process can be customized to fulfill organization’s requirements.
Login and session management:
In order to access Web Connect, user has to login to the Web Connect using a username and password. Login process can be customized to fulfill organization’s requirements.
Display Account information:
This information is displayed on every screen: Account balance, Account Status, open credits, last payments and other related information.
Contract detail information
Displays Contract Terms and list of BIDs. Here a user will also see a list of invoices and invoice details for the selected Contract.
BID Contact and profile update:
Users can update contact information, including firstname, lastname, password, email address and more. After each profile update a confirmation email or SMS[2] is sent to the user.
Login failure:
In case of login failure, a counter at the username level is incremented. After each successful login this counter is set to zero. If login failure excites a predefined number in the configuration file, username is blocked. User has to go through a password reset in order to reset his/her password. (Customer Care can also be contacted to assist in password reset if need be)
Password change:
User can at anytime change his/her password. A confirmation is emailed or sent via SMS[3] to the user.

View Recent and Unbilled usage:
Web Connect displays unbilled usage. This is calls that have been made by account users and rated, but not billed on an invoice.
Download Call Records Billed/Unbilled
Allows users to download to excel call records from both recent unbilled usage as well as billed usage that shows on invoices. View call history, based on previous invoices. Dependent on how long the carrier chooses to keep records for.
View historical invoice:
Web Connect displayed historical POS and ACCESS invoices in PDF format.
Download historical invoice:
Web Connect allows user to download POS and ACCESS invoices in PDF format. (As well as download to Excel as above)
View historical payments:
Web Connect displayed historical payments.
Payment options:
Open credit or apply to the earliest open invoice. Different payment types can be applied.
Payment using credit card:
Web Connect allows user to pay by credit cards that are supported by current credit card processor. Merchant account number can be different from regular POS payment, but this is not required. Payments are applied as a predefined Location and predefined Employee. This way posted payments can be tracked in various reports.
New Auto Payment Feature
We now manage Credit Cards usage in Envision. Customers can enroll to Auto Pay, update card information like expiry or new numbers.
e-signature:
After providing payment and credit card information user has to agree with Carrier’s Terms and Conditions for online payments in order to move forward. This is considered to be the e-signature for the payment collected.
Payment Confirmation and receipt:
Once a payment is successfully posted in the billing system a confirmation receipt is displayed back to the user. This receipt can be printed out. Also a confirmation email is sent to the user for this transaction.
New HTML and Text Based Email Templates
These are used in Auto Pay, Enrollment and Activation activities.
Change Print Group Option
User has the ability if given, to change print group or distribution of invoice delivery. Printed, emailed etc.
Balance Inquiry via SMS
Wireless Carriers with their own SMSC can allow customers to do a BAL request from the handset to see unbilled balance in realtime via text message.
Police and Emergency Services Interface
This allows special users/subscribers such as emergency services personnel to do quick lookups in a very limited interface for things such as call record requests from court orders, or other intelligence gathering needs such as mandated by CALEA or other agencies or Governments.
Logout:
There is button on every page where users can logout from Web Connect. Once user logs in to Web Connect a session id is assigned and stored in the Web Connect database. This way Web Connect tracks the activity of the session. If a session doesn’t detect any activity for a period greater than a period predefined in the Web Connect configuration, session is considered to be expired and user has to log back in.
Devices & Access:
Envision Web Connect is available using multiple devices including PC’s, Macs, Linux, iPhone and PocketPC (Windows Mobile) devices. This allows your customers to connect anytime, anywhere.
