A free beta version of DataViz’s RoadSync for Android-based phones is now available. This application uses the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol to provide secure, wireless, and direct push synchronization with an Exchange Server.

The Android OS is strongly tied to Google’s online services. This device keeps its owner’s personal information synchronized with the appropriate Google online database, but this doesn’t help the millions of people who depend on Exchange for business-related messages and scheduling. That’s where something like RoadSync steps in.

It supportsΒ Exchange Server 2003 and 2007, and the beta supports push e-mail, attachments, and contacts.

DataViz RoadSync can now be downloaded from the Android Market, and more information is available on its developer’s website.
